It has always been a life long dream to live and work in Australia. After 12 months of hard work both personally and professionally I've made that possible. I’m pleased to be able to offer coaching services in Australia and the APAC region to complement the work that I do in the UK. And to finish the year off in style, it was a privilege to make it thanks to Influence Digest Media - top 15 coaches in Perth 2023 list It's an honour to work in the coaching profession where I can support individuals on a journey of self-improvement and personal growth.
Celebrating my career milestone. Feeling thankful for this #workmilestone The last year has been a series of lessons. Like many, it's been a hard time: lockdown, anxiety, tragedies, mum guilt when working full time, work/life blur, and throw in an intense year of completing my Advanced coaching qualifications with the ICF.
When you meet for the first time in person..... I've been fortunate to have been able to work online for the last year and whilst that comes with a whole host of emotions and practical implications. I appreciate I've been able to work and continue to do a job that I'm very passionate about.
Alongside caring responsibilities, worrying about your family and friends and increased anxiety levels to manage – you may be finding that this lockdown period is causing you to reflect on your career choices and look more closely at career planning.
Does your alarm go off in the morning, and instead of getting out of bed, you just lie there delivering yourself a pep talk about why you need to work? Then when you get there, you spend all day distracted by thoughts of what else you could be doing or dreaming of frolicking though greener pastures.
Are you so bored with your work, you find yourself missing deadlines causing constant stress to hang over your head and your life becomes a battle against career burnout?

Failure is hard to define because it’s such a subjective notion; total failure for one person may simply be considered a small setback to others. But the fundamental problem with failure is that most of us tend to attribute it to permanent – rather than general – causes.
Tough times are inevitable. It’s how we respond to them that’s harder to predict. Resilience is the magic ingredient: the ability to bounce back from a setback or failure and adjust our thinking accordingly. With The World Health Organisation describing stress as the “global health epidemic of the 21st century,” our resilience has never been more important.
No one likes criticism. Which is why asking for, giving or receiving feedback at work is a minefield – for everyone involved. But, if done correctly, feedback can motivate employees and help us all learn more about how to produce our best, most efficient work.
